Making your website more effective
Our audits are designed for people who feel their websites are not performing as they should. If you think your website could be doing more for your business we will evaluate its strengths and weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvement.
Basic Audit
This will be most suitable for small, static websites and will review:
- Basic usability and navigation
- Keyword strategy - appropriate use of keywords to promote search engine ranking
- Accessibility - extent to which your site can be used by individuals with disabilities and/or using alternative browsing technologies
- Adherence to International coding standards and cross browser compatibility
- User interaction and site functionality
- Visual design at different screen resolutions
- Proper use of page titles, descriptions and meta tags
- Correct page layout method employed
- Correct separation of presentation (the way the page is displayed visually) from the content (the words and images that make up the page)
- Validation of HTML and CSS
Typically you will receive a 2-page report outlining deficiencies identified and actions required to correct them.

Full Audit
As above but also includes:
- Examination of use and effectiveness of site search facilities, site maps and help pages
- User interaction and customisation
- Typography - font usage, line and letter spacing, scalability
- Print options and settings
- Use of image formats, compression setting and download times
- Javascript compatibility
- Link checking
- Correct usage of TITLE and ALT attributes and link description
- Assessment of inward links
- Form validation and accessibility
